How come when we see a serious post or a serious question asked, the
self-recognized watercraft expert "R" never has anything intelligent to say?
I think it'd be fun reading his advice to a serious problem. ( A real-world
problem, not a mathematical one)

Prichard,

*WE* already know the answer. WE have no doubts at all. YOUR doubts
don't concern US.

Giz
------------------------------------------------------------------

It's a 2E engine, with a balancer shaft that turns engine RPM that
phases out F2 inertia forces, kind of thought that's what you meant.
Some ME you are implying the balancer shaft in the 800 Doo engine phase

out F1 inertia forces.

R

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Geeeez... and I thought we were done with you.

But, I guess you just can't sleep at night unless you're WRONG each and

every day. Anyway... starting the day off RIGHT.... you're WRONG
again!

The SeaDoo "800" engine has one balancer shaft, it rotates at the crank
RPM.
It has one counter-balancer eccentric weight PER cylinder, each weight
designed to counteract BOTH on-axis and off-axis (something not
addressed in
Cossalter's work) imbalances created by the piston AND

"crankshaft eccentric weight"
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't even exist

R
------------------------------------------------------------------------

(also not addressed in Cossalter's work).... at the FIRST fundamental
frequency of the engine. Bombardier made no attempt to address the
second
order, or higher order frequencies.

And if you'd like to argue that, I'd love to make you look like an
IDIOT.
Just as I have done on every other "technical discussion" that we've
had
over the last few months.

quots the idiot fiz

----------------------------------------------------------------------

There is only so much BS I can take, I happen to run into the biggest
poser-idiot in the world in this N/G. fiz is to stupid to realize
there are no eccentric counterweights on the crank for the 800 Doo
engine, he couldn't be any more stupid. It's not even laughable
anymore.

"With inline four and flat horizontally opposed fours (like Porsche
and Subaru), all pistons move back and forth in the same plane and are
typically phased 180° apart so crankshaft counterweights are not
needed to balance the reciprocating components. Balance can be achieved
by carefully weighing all the pistons, rods, wrist pins, rings and
bearings, then equalizing them to the lightest weight."

Discussion is over, you took a dive on this subject like no other, geek

(Since Prichard has never actually seen the crankshaft on his Doo.. he
wouldn't know the eccentrics exist)

If by real world problems you mean living life with a critically low IQ or
living life in a trainer park or advancing in society with no formal
education, Ricky may have a lot of "advice" to offer.

And how does this information apply to your twin cylinder 800 Ski-Doo engine
in previous discussions?

clairification

No counterweights on the 800 Doo engine that phase out F1 forces.

Tonight's home work is to watch Kubrick's classic film Dr. Strangelove....In
this film Slim Pickens IS Richard Giguere
The likeness is undeniable.

the answer the SIMPLE question for your SIMPLE mind Prichard. If there
are NO F1 imbalance forces... then why the hell are there
counterbalance lobes on the crank webs????

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

There are no F1 forces because it's an inline twin with a 180 deg
phased crank, the counter bancers don't have much to do with phasing
out the F1 forces, engine configuration is what eliminates the F1
forces for this engine.

R
------------------------------------------------------------

fiz needs schooling on torsional deflection, he'd understand what the
counter weighted webs are on the 800 Doo Crank, fiz an engineer, he
gets more pathetic, as I re read these post.
